Year SIX of owning a business.
Still feels a little unreal saying that out loud 🥹

I still remember sitting in university feeling completely out of alignment — crying to my dad about how much I hated it. I’ll never forget the moment he suggested I leave and go to beauty school to build a business instead.
An Indian dad encouraging his daughter to drop out and become a hairstylist?! Wild.
Also… life-changing.

That single conversation rerouted my entire life.

Over the last six years, I’ve refined not just my craft, but myself. I’ve tested systems, hired different roles, worn every hat, burned out, rebuilt, learned where my energy is best spent — and where it isn’t. Owning a business isn’t glamorous every day. There are wins, losses, doubt, growth, and a whole lot of resilience — especially in this economy.
